Meet Amy Lancaster-King, a seasoned workforce developer and lobbyist dedicated to advancing economic mobility through policy and advocacy efforts, education and workforce programs, and equitable opportunities for all communities. Amy is skilled in working collaboratively with a diverse range of stakeholders, including businesses, non-profits, and education and workforce systems to solve complex problems and drive change.
With her established track record of success, Amy has led coalitions and conducted innovative research on the supply and demand of entry-level talent. She was previously the Executive Director of WorkSource Atlanta, where she expertly administered $7+ million in federal grant funds to provide workforce training and career services to unemployed and under-employed residents.
Amy's leadership experience also includes spearheading strategy development and program execution for the Metro Atlanta Chamber's (MAC) workforce initiatives, lobbying for effective workforce policies, and connecting Opportunity Youth to jobs and training through the management of the Opportunity ATL program.
Currently, Amy sits on the boards of CareerRise, Metro Atlanta Exchange for Workforce Solutions, and Kindred Futures, while providing guidance on the LISC Atlanta advisory board. She has also served on the boards of the Georgia Association of Colleges and Employers, Atlanta College and Career Academy, and WorkSource Atlanta.
